Hey we're half way through our 21 days, way to go! Wherever you're at - even if you're saving the lessons for February - it's where you're meant to be.
To honor our half way point I want to do a check in. Today's lesson is merely to reflect + to BE.
Honestly, this is not what I "planned" for today. After a few days of feeling into the group + checking in with myself, I want to offer you this right now.
We're going to pull the telescope back to see big picture + I'm going to let you see where I'm coming from as I created this experience.
To put into practice taking really good care of your body, mind + soul in order to feel more nourished, calm + connected.
Each of these lessons are tools designed to help with these 3 things:
- Connect you to yourself + be mindful.
- Be nourishing, respectful + kind to yourself.
- Empower you to listen to + trust your intuition.
So with that in mind, can you reflect on which of the lesson(s) have felt significant to you? What do you want to give energy + attention to?
These are not practices to master in one day. It's more like a menu or reference guide. What feels necessary in your life right now?
If it's to slow down the overwhelm, don't turn this into another "to-do." Practice the lessons that give you a chance to slow (mindful eating, soup, sleep/relaxation).
Other than making soup, exercise + clearing clutter, the other 7 lessons are passive. They don't require you to do anything but slow down + be aware in order to connect, nourish + listen. If that's feeling hard or impossible, it's probably what you need most.
Learning to not DO is as, if not more, effective than DOING because we rarely balance our doing with relaxing.
If you're inspired to act after you reflect on something, great. If you joined this group in order to let go of overwhelm, notice if you are using these lessons to do that (which means you actually have to slow down) or if you are using them to create more overwhelm.
The more we learn about ourselves, which is an act of reflection, the easier it is for us to KNOW what we need, want + desire.
These lessons are not rules for you to follow, they are guideposts + ideas to move you in the direction of taking really great care of yourself. Feel into them, if it feels like too much or you notice you want to turn everything into another to-do item, back off. Ask yourself what you need in order to take care of yourself. Reach out to the group + myself, that's what we're here for.
Today, let it be + let these lessons integrate ALL BY THEMSELVES. So much has already shifted, you're doing a wonderful job.
